Indian Oaks Campground – Temecula

Seeing as how I had two gigs back-to-back with the Sophisticados at Ponte Vineyard in Temecula; one on Saturday and another on Sunday. Usually I would drive there and back twice, but that is quite a lot since it’s about 120 miles round trip. So I thought why not stay at the campground instead of driving back and forth.

I left town on Friday around 1pm by myself and drove straight to the campground. Once I got there I paid my site fees ($20 per night), I set up camp. My girlfriend Renee and her dog met me there next day.

This camp ground has everything you need for a few day’s stay… Bathroom complete with shower, water and electric hookups at no additional charge. It has a small lake which you can fish on, but it is catch and release. The camp manager (Ginger) is great and accommodates you in whatever your need. If you get there and can’t finder her there is a drop-box that you can pay for the amount of nights you stay.

In short, I highly recommend this place. It is friendly, clean reasonably priced.
